Overview

Welcome to the Organisation Administration documentation suite. This index serves as the master roadmap for the foundational configuration of your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

The Organisation Administration module is the absolute bedrock of the ERP architecture. Before any financial transactions can be posted, personnel hired, or inventory received, the system must definitively understand who your legal entity is, where it resides, and how it sequentially identifies its transactional records.

Failure to establish these parameters correctly will inherently break integrations across all subsequent operational modules and severely compromise statutory compliance (such as automated tax reporting).

This index outlines the fundamental configuration journey.

Foundational Setup

This sequence establishes the core identity and numbering mechanisms of your enterprise. These configurations are mandatory prerequisites prior to initiating module-specific setups (such as General Ledger or Human Resources).

  1. Company setup: The primary configuration node defining your overarching trading name, registered physical locations, and central communication channels. This data propagates to all outward-facing commercial documents.
  2. UAE VAT Setup: A critical, region-specific extension of the Company setup. This guide details the strict configuration of your Tax Registration Number (TRN), multilingual corporate names, and declarant accountability required for seamless Federal Tax Authority (FTA) compliance.
  3. Number sequences: The architectural mechanism governing the automated, chronological generation of identifiers across the entire system. This ensures a rigid, gapless audit trail from customer creation through to ledger journaling.
