Rental agreement templates
Rental agreement templates let you define reusable defaults for rental agreements — interval, fee, terms, and ticket template — so your team can start from a consistent baseline instead of filling in every field from scratch each time.
Creating a Rental agreement template
Navigate to Leasing management > Setup > Rental agreement templates.
Select New and define:
- Name: A label to identify this template in lists and dropdowns (e.g. Monthly Fragrance Service). Required.
Default values
These fields are pre-filled into new agreements created from this template. All are optional — leave any field blank to let the user fill it in manually.
- Interval type: The default recurrence pattern (e.g. Monthly, Weekly, Daily).
- Interval value: The default interval multiplier (e.g.
1for every interval,2for every other). - Rental fee: The default fee charged per interval.
- Ticket template: A ticket template to link for automatic service ticket generation.
- Terms and conditions: Default contract terms carried into the agreement.
- Notes: Default internal notes.
Page layout
The page uses a master-detail layout:
- Left panel — a searchable list of all active templates, showing each template's name.
- Right panel — the full details of the selected template, or a prompt to select or create one.
Select any template in the left panel to view its details on the right.
Editing a Rental agreement template
Select the template in the left panel, then select Edit. Update any fields as needed and select Save.
Editing a template does not retroactively change any agreements that were already created from it. Only future agreements are affected.
Archiving and restoring templates
Archiving removes a template from selection dropdowns without deleting it. Select the template in the left panel and select Archive.
To view archived templates, select Archived in the toolbar. The left panel switches to show only archived templates. Select a template and choose the restore action to bring it back.
Archiving a template does not affect agreements that already reference it.
