Customer Service Parameters

Overview​

The Customer service parameters page lets you choose which number sequence is used to generate reference numbers for Customer Service documents, such as ticket numbers and rental agreement numbers.

This page only lets you assign which existing number sequence is used for each document type. The number sequences themselves are created and configured elsewhere in the system.

Number Sequences​

The Number sequences tab lists each document reference and the number sequence currently assigned to it:

  • Reference — the type of document (e.g. Customer tickets, Rental agreements).
  • Number Sequence — the sequence assigned to that reference, along with its numbering format (e.g. Customer-Ticket (TICKET-######)).

Changing a Number Sequence​

  1. Select Edit.
  2. For the reference you want to change, select a different number sequence from the available list.
  3. Save your changes.
