Job management

The Job management form dictates the overarching roles and responsibilities that exist within the enterprise, independent of any specific headcount or departmental assignment. A job functions as a formal template or blueprint; it defines the intrinsic nature of the work (e.g., Accountant, Manager) before it is actualised into a specific, quantifiable position.

Accessing job management

  1. Navigate to Human resources > Employees management > Job management.
  2. The interface displays all configured jobs alongside their corresponding descriptions.

Creating a job

To define a new role blueprint:

  1. Select New from the Action Pane.
  2. In the Job name field, enter the formal title of the role (e.g., Sales Representative).
  3. In the Description field, articulate the core responsibilities and scope of the job.
  4. Select Save to register the job within the master data.
info

While a job defines the what, it does not define the where or how many. To allocate a job within the organisation, it must be associated with one or more Positions.
